This class is open to any student who has completed Intro to FEMPRESS Flip/ Hammocks.
This is an intense aerial fitness training program fusing elements of general conditioning, Pilates, ballet and HIIT (high intensity interval training) on aerial hammocks. Students will learn the basics of working in the fabrics, including climbing and learning how to make transitions in the fabrics.
Flip is a mixed-level flow class linking movements and power postures with breath-work and hammocks. It uses basic to intermediate yoga poses with aerial hammocks; to allow for a full body stretch that increases flexibility beyond what traditional yoga provides. Students will learn fun new aerial poses and transitions, this creative sequencing and transitions help to create opportunities to build strength, coordination and mental poise. At the end of each class, we do a series of cool down techniques and dynamic stretches; an important part of your hammock fitness regimen.
This 75-minute class is challenging, but also comforting, playful, and energizing. This class is great by itself, or as a supplement to your fitness routine, aerial Lyra or yoga practice. It provides strength training, flexibility training and relieves tension in tight muscles.
