Intro to Fempress Flip- Aerial Hammock

Fempress Fit has Aerial Hammocks Classes in Chicago to help you tone your body all while hanging in a hammock! Aerial Hammock Fitness, is a work out that uses a swath of soft fabric that most practitioners call a “hammock.” It is suspended from the ceiling, and fully supports your body weight, while allowing your body to work against gravity, and helping you to get deeper into stretches while holding stronger poses. You’ll get a total-body workout. The hammock acts like a swing, or soft trapeze, supporting the hips for forward bends, back bends, and more.
This 75-minute class is designed to teach you how to balance, use your core and arm muscles, while staying close to the ground. This beginner class introduces new clients to aerial exercises on hammocks. The class emphasizes basic alignment, foundation, and specific muscle action, so that the body can learn how to balance on aerial hammocks with ease.

Your privacy and comfort are key in this class. We ask that you cheer for, and support your studio sisters in all of our classes.

This class has limited availability as there is no sharing of hammocks, and space is limited.  Classes are limited to 3-6 students per class, and one person per hammock. Wear comfortable clothing, sleeves and leggings.
